Определились победители ежегодной премии
The Game Awards 2017. Игрой года была назначена The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, также взявшая награду за лучшую разработку и ставшая лучшей приключенческой игрой. Да и вообще, компания Nintendo стала триумфатором выставки, забрав призы сразу в шести номинациях.
Самыми успешными независимыми проектами года можно назвать Cuphead, отхватившую премию за лучший дизайн, лучший дебютный проект инди-студии и просто лучшее инди, а также Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, которую похвалили за звук, актерскую игру и оказанное на социум влияние.
